Foundations
The company, PATHseq Diagnostics, Inc., was founded by Dr. Jiguo Chen in 2014 in Fairbanks, Alaska. Dr. Chen is a Professor at University of Alaska Fairbanks with over 30 years of clinical and research experience working in virology and viral infectious diseases. Dr. Chen is Board Certified as a High- Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director(HCLD) in Molecular Diagnostics by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) and certified as a Molecular Biologist (MB) by American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
